Our Anniversary

10th Anniversary of the C. Williams Rush Museum of African-American Arts & Culture, December 18 & 19, 2020

The 10th Anniversary of the C Williams Rush Museum of African-American Arts & Culture on Friday and Saturday, December 18 and 19, 2020 at 200 Hampton Avenue in Kingstree, South Carolina.  This was a hybrid and abbreviated celebration of the Gullah Geechee people and culture via video,, drive by exhibition and “A  Taste of the Gullah Geechee Foods” on Saturday  2:00 - 4:00 PM. The drive-through provided samples of the Gullah Geechee foods and visual exhibition. We adhered to the CDC and governmental guidelines and made the event both virtual and socially distanced outside, with a drive-through format.
